Divisions and Regions outside Wales

In 1997, the Caravan Club created ten Regional Councils and these are as follows:-

Region 1 - Irish Division - incorporates the whole of Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland

Region 2 - Scottish Division - incorporates the whole of Scotland

Region 3 - Northern Division - incorporates Cumbria, Durham, Lancashire, Northumberland and Yorkshire

Region 4 - Central - incorporates Birmingham, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Rutland, Staffordshire and Warwickshire

Region 5 - South East - incorporates Kent, Surrey, Sussex and London (South of the Thames)

Region 6 - Welsh Division - incorporates the whole of Wales

Region 7 - West Central - incorporates Cheshire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, West Midlands and Worcestershire

Region 8 - South West - incorporates Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Somerset and Wiltshire

Region 9 - Anglia - incorporates Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk

Region 10 - Home Counties - incorporates Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Middlesex, Oxfordshire and London (North of the Thames)

Their primary aim is to encourage and enable communications throughout the CAMC membership.  Regional Councils provide a forum to discuss Club issues and to solve local and Regional problems.
